It Wasn't Like This During The War - 2020

I wrote this monologue in response to a call for entries to The Lockdown Monologue Film Festival 2020 and it was selected for production.

In the Midst - 2019

7 July 2005 and the news is full of the previous day's announcement that London will host the 2012 Olympics​. It's also a momentous day for Sam as she's about to go into labour. But it's about to become even more momentous.

​It was released on the 15th Anniversary of 7/7, which also happened to be my eldest grandson's 15th Birthday.

Chequered Flag - 2013

Chequered Flag is the story of Cas who wants Lisa to go out with him but, first, she's got to notice him. How Cas decides to achieve that leads to tragic consequences.

This was my second film with Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service. Several drafts in it became quite 'spiritual' with Dom (the 'devil') and Ray (the 'angel') vying for Cas's attention.

The film was well supported by local Police and Youth Offending Services and was well received regionally and nationally. A copy even made its way to Russia with a cultural delegation.
